Xunantunich is an all day Tour!
Although Xunantunich (or "Stone Maiden" in English) had a relatively short life span, it interestingly flourished while most Mayan sites were in their final chapter; while at the same time gaining such importance that it accomplished having not one but two ball courts and several stela. El Castillo or castle as it is called, is the tallest temple at Xunantunich boasts "friezes" which tells a story and intrigues the mind.
You may wish to combine Xunantunich tour with the Belize Zoo or Cahal Pech for a very full day walking in the foot steps of the ancient Maya.
