A Tentative Guide to the Northern Escape Package
Day 1:
- We pick you up at the airport or water taxi or bus terminal-- we'll be there when you arrive n.b. check in time is at 2 p.m. but we try our very best to get you in your Cabin if you arrive earlier
- Travel by van for 30 to 50 minutes depending on where we pick you up
- Fast check in - grab a beer from honor bar (beers not included in package) 😊
- Settle into your Cabin - enjoy your beer on your porch overlooking the Belize River
- Afternoon Free. OPTIONAL activities not included: book a Guided Nature walk, Jungle Drift Canoe or Belize River Boat Drift,
Crocodile Night Adventure or just go Nature Watching on your own.
- 6:00 to 6:30pm dinner
Day 2:
- Coffee & tea is ready in the dining room from 6:30 a.m.
- 7:00 a.m. Early Breakfast
- 7:45 a.m we Leave in our van after breakfast for the Lamanai Archaeological Reserve.
- 9:00 a.m. Arrive at our rendezvous point for the shared New River boat portion of the Lamanai adventure.
- 9:00 - 9:15 a.m. We Stretch your legs use restroom (Your Boat transfer fee is covered in your Package)
- 9:30 a.m. Cruise along New River for about an hour on the way to Lamanai Archeological Reserve. Many times on this tour we get to see Crocs, bats and many different birds
- 10:30a.m.arrive Lamanai Archeological Reserve (your entrance fee is covered in your package)
- Along with your licensed Sea Monkey Adventures Tour Guide, We break off from the other visitors for a private tour of Lamanai Archeological Reserve
- Use restroom before tour of Lamanai (there are very nice facilities there)
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tour of Lamanai site
- If time allows, we wonder around the small museum or visit gift shops
- 1 p.m.Lunch
- return to meeting point in Orange Walk
- 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Arrive back to Howler Monkey Resort, exhausted!
Day 3:
- 6:30 coffee/tea
- 7:30 breakfast
- Transfer to airport or Belize City (check out time is 11 a.m.)
